the STORY

With little experience in the restaurant business and very little money, but big dreams, Rancho Viejo was founded by Javier and Lorena Luna in 2007.  Two Mexican immigrants from a small town in Jerez, Zacatecas who have taken advantage of the great opportunities this country has to offer.  Through hard work and dedication in the sister’s community Rancho Viejo has become one of the most successful Mexican restaurants in central Oregon for the past decade.

Rancho Viejo Mexican Restaurant and Cantina is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Sisters, home to a solid south of the border Mexican cuisine.  As the oldest Mexican restaurant in Sisters Oregon, Rancho Viejo has welcome diners since 2007 offering some of the finest chicken, pork, beef and seafood platters. Our cantina offers a variety of options from imported to domestic beer from our local breweries, to a well-defined selection of tequila, great variety of margaritas and some of the more popular Mexican cocktails.
